Works are still forging ahead at Warrina Aged Care Innisfail, even with 139 days of rain coming down in the Far North Queensland region.
Paynters is currently completing the design and construction of a new 64-bed high care facility for Warrina Aged Care, which includes the addition of a new kitchen, refurbished laundry, undercroft staff carpark and storage facilities.
Our in-house Interior Design team have themed the new facility to fit the Art Deco era which resonates with the residents.
Given the intense rainfall the region often receives, the ground floor of the building was raised 1100mm above the ground floor level of existing buildings, to ensure that the new facility is above the Council’s revised flood levels.
Our team has done a great job planning the construction activities around the wet season, ensuring that the project has stayed on track for a December handover.
