Aged Care Hot Topics Breakfast – Paynters building for a post COVID-19 world

Paynters Director John McCafferty was a guest speaker at the widely anticipated Hot Topics breakfast in Brisbane yesterday.

John spoke about the impact of COVID-19 and the role that the built environment plays in mitigating contagion risk in aged care & seniors living. He also spoke about a set of principles which could assist in allowing residents to safely interact with others, and how we may “build resilience” in aged care & seniors living developments for a post COVID-19 world, and future pandemics.

Upon completion of the presentation John joined a panel of experts within the Aged Care industry, discussing building and design implications that have arisen as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
