Paynters are currently working with several clients across Canberra after a severe thunderstorm swept through the nation’s capital at the start of this year.

One of our more prominent projects is at St Edmund’s College in the suburb of Griffith. With the school undergoing 8000m² of roof replacements, due for completion by September, after hail severely damaged six buildings.

The school’s Main Building also suffered extensive damage to their upper level. As a result, a second stage of repairs will involve replacing the horsehair plasterboard ceilings and carpets, as well new lighting which will meet current standards for energy efficiency.

The College are incredibly happy with the progress made by our team so far, and are appreciative of our coordinated approach which has minimised disruption to the students’ day-to-day activities.
