Improved Emergency Department facilities a timely addition

As the need for additional hospital infrastructure rapidly increases during this time, Paynters have recently completed the Emergency Department upgrade for Maryborough Hospital.

The renovation included upgrades to isolation units, acute beds, clinical decision units, resuscitation areas, ambulance bays, entry facade, staff stations, plant room, waiting areas and the front desk.

Our team managed to co-ordinate and organise major service shutdowns with the Hospital so that the impact to typical operation was limited.

Given the urgent delivery of this project, our team were able to handover the new Emergency Department in a timely manner and to a high quality standard.

This upgrade has allowed Maryborough Hospital to better facilitate patients during this tough time.
