Raising the Bar: What’s in Store for Bargara Hotel

As Paynters nears completion at Bargara Beach Hotel, the community will start to see the outer rebuild of the hotel taking shape. The interior fit-out will be a completely different layout to the former hotel, which was destroyed by fire last year.

From a cocktail lounge, to an American-style sports bar, cafe, a fully enclosed kids adventure playground with outdoor televisions and a beer garden area, the new hotel will have plenty to offer diners.

The old hotel would seat about 300 people, but the new open design will provide seating for about 500 patrons throughout the whole venue.

Hotel General Manager, Greg Felgate said he hoped to start trading again between early and mid-November.

“Once we get the doors open, the community will love what we’ve got to offer them” he said.
