Remembrance Day at Calliope

On 11 November 1918 the guns on the Western Front fell silent after four years of continuous warfare. The Paynters team at Calliope State High School put on a BBQ breakfast this morning, taking a moment to reflect for Remembrance Day and to raise money for Legacy via the local RSL. Our head office in Brisbane also took a moment of silence at 11am, providing an opportunity to remember those who have served our country, and those who lost their lives in conflict.
