Stages 2 and 3 of the redevelopment of the Killarney Memorial Aged Care facility have now been handed over, after successful completion of the new wing and associated works in the Southern Downs Region.
Despite various challenges, the building was completed within the original time frame – achieving this key objective for the client.
This 33-bed addition boasts 30 ensuited rooms, lounge and dining areas, nurse stations, treatment rooms on the upper level. With the lower level providing room for a full commercial kitchen, new laundry and staff facilities, and secure undercover parking. The building is complemented by fully landscaped low maintenance gardens.
