This development is considered one of Paynters flagship projects, with respect to the level of detail and technical facets.

Our team worked closely with Qantas to complete an upgrade and expansion to the existing Aspen Hangar 2 at Brisbane Airport as part of Qantas maintenance restructuring program. The new and improved hangar accommodates Qantas B737 maintenance operations including a new Resource Provisioning building and hoist, new mezzanine and docking facility which houses three B737 aircrafts, new workshops, office and amenities. The team at Paynters also constructed a new $5m fire deluge system and external car park and hardstand.

This project was a logistically challenging undertaking requiring regular operational airside/landside interfaces and was delivered to budget and within Qantas tight timeframes.
