QUT CPME Laboratory

Paynters have delivered yet another state of the art facility for our trusted clients at Queensland University of Technology.

This unique project involved the demolition and refurbishment of existing building spaces at the Gardens Point Campus to create an innovative working laboratory, modern furnished lounge, staff room spaces and student work station areas.

Paynters collaborative approach allowed the project to run smoothly, while enabling a number of cost saving solutions for the client. The highlight of the fit out was the intricately dimensioned and detailed laboratory feature wall which combined glass and multifaceted vinyl, ply and MDF.

Paynters worked closely with the architect and specialty joiner to fine tune and make this element of the laboratory an achievable item for the client, sourcing readily available materials to fast track the installation. Paynters worked diligently on the operational campus to ensure the client’s time frames were met, delivering this project in just 20 weeks – a credit to our dedicated project team. These outstanding results have left our clients at QUT incredibly happy with the project outcome.
