Whitsunday Regional Council have once again hosted an outstanding Mayors Charity Ball, delivering a sell-out event, with all funds raised going to RACQ CQ Rescue.

RACQ CQ Rescue is a community funded service that provides a critical, lifesaving service to visitors & residents within the Whitsunday region. They provide rapid response, critical care and aeromedical retrieval services to all areas within the Whitsunday region. They deliver world class treatment for emergencies and ensure that you, your loved ones, your employees and friends are quickly and safely taken to medical care facilities necessary to make a full recovery.

Two of our resident team members, North Queensland Manager, Michael Koen alongside Project Manager, Paul Goldsack (who most recently completed the Whitsunday Coast Airport new terminal upgrade) attended the event & mentioned that it was a fantastic evening in Bowen with funds going to such a well-deserved charity.

Paynters remain a huge advocate of the ball, sponsoring the event & throwing their support behind Cr Andrew Wilcox & his team.

Arguably one of the most glamorous events in the Whitsunday social calendar, the Mayor’s Annual Charity Ball sees attendees through a live auction, entertainment and mega-fireworks to boot!

The ball has raised an impressive $50,000+ on the night & we, along with other businesses across the region, are proud to fund such a worthy cause!
