Yesterday, the Paynters team working on the Gold Coast Youth Foyer project had a visit from Meaghan Scanlon, Assistant Minister for Tourism Industry Development.

Paynters is not only excited to show off the progression onsite, but proudly supporting 600 jobs for Queenslanders during construction of the project, providing substantial hours for young apprentices, and maximising training opportunities for workers onsite.

Meaghan had a tour of the project works as the building comes to life, with the ground slab complete and blockwork walls & door frames erected. Formwork has commenced for the first deck and the final in ground services are going in.

Once complete, the 40 bed unit complex will provide much needed support for the local Gold Coast community, providing homes for 16-25 year olds who need it most.
