The Paynters aged care team continuously explore the way in which aged care and supported living is delivered within Australia. Understanding the way the built environment supports and enables the model of care further enhances the capabilities of our aged care team to be innovative leaders in the design and construction of residential care facilities throughout Queensland.

In August of this year, Paynters took a group of 9 on a study tour to several European destinations, expanding the knowledge of our team and our hosted clients. Erica Lambert and Andrew Spilar guided the tour group through a variety of International supported living facilities exploring a range of models of care to discover a new way of thinking and gather functional and aesthetic design ideas which can be implemented in future Paynters’ projects.

Whilst the Royal Commission is challenging every Australian to seriously consider what Aged Care and supported living does and should look like, our team have always explored new horizons to constantly and consistently improve our design of Australian facilities. Interpreting European design into the Australian lifestyle and funding models is a complex process and one which our specialty team work through every day to ensure we are creating the right buildings for each individual community.
