Paynters Paving the Way for Trainees

It was all smiles at the Paynters head office last Friday, as our team welcomed the newest round of School Based Trainees, with students from Kelvin Grove State College and Shailer Park State High School gearing up for some hard yakka!

Jake, Ashley & Leo put their hands up for the Paynters School Based Training opportunity, eager to gain some hands-on experience learning the ins and outs of the commercial construction process. The School Based Training will be hosted by Paynters in conjunction with Major Training as the RTO , Busy at Work as the Apprenticeship Centre and Construction Skills Qld. At the completion of their traineeship (which requires 375 hours on the job training), the boys will receive their Certificate II in Civil Construction.

This pathway will definitely give the boys a head start in their trade journey, and we look forward to welcoming them on our Kelvin Grove and Logan project sites in the coming weeks. Congratulations to the new recruits!
