It’s been a rainy day in Proserpine however this hasn’t stopped construction works at Proserpine State High School this morning. The school is relatively quiet and our team are using this time to progress further in building the new Performing Arts Centre and complete additional upgrades to buildings across the campus.

Works are well and truly underway for the new Performing Arts Centre, which is situated between the High School and adjacent State School. The earthworks and foundations are complete, the concrete slab has been poured and the blockwork can now start to go up. It won’t be long now till we start seeing the framing come together to showcase the building in its entirety.

This modern building will greatly enhance educational opportunities in drama and musical performance as well as the expansion of the curriculum to include dance with specialist teaching spaces.

The Administration building is progressing smoothly, working with the School team to move offices around during the refurbishment works. Demolition is complete to expand the building and the slab will be poured in the coming week.

Paynters is excited to be delivering these state-of-the-art facilities which will cater for Proserpine State High School’s many talented performing arts students.
