A huge congratulations to our team on the recent contract award of a 26-bed facility at Ipswich Hospital. Paynters will commence the design and construction of Tower Block Levels 6 and 7 to provide spaces for allied health consult and treatment; oncology and day infusion treatment, audiology services, hand clinic, flexible outpatient consultation spaces and staff facilities and workspaces.

West Moreton Health chief executive Dr Kerrie Freeman said the new ward will help meet demand in the state’s fastest-growing region.

“This will be the first new ward at Ipswich Hospital for six years,” Dr Freeman said.

Refurbishment of ward 6D will also include a new 26-bed inpatient ward, treatment room, patient & transit lounge, early pregnancy assessment services and staff facilities.

Paynters are excited to deliver this project to help meet a rapid growth in demand and allow more patients in the West Moreton region to be treated closer to home.
