Twice as nice! Two wins for Paynters at the Gold Coast Housing & Construction Awards

A very happy Monday in the office today, with our team securing two wins at the Gold Coast Housing and Construction Awards over the weekend!

The new Kurrawa Surf Lifesaving Club received commendation for Tourism and Leisure Facilities over $10 million. Our team collaborated with not only the client, but with other stakeholders including the Commonwealth Games Unit and the Gold Coast City Council & City Parks in order to develop an iconic community focused building. This project has made an incredible impression on club members and the local community since the official opening in December 2017.

Paynters specialist Aged Care team also received commendation in Community Accommodation (Aged Care & Nursing Homes) for their outstanding design and construction delivery of ‘The Residences at Cedarbrook’ for long-term clients at Carinity. Located in Mudgeeraba, the facility offers residents stunning rural views and state-of-the-art facilities. This Greenfield project was the first stage in the master plan for an integrated site development, and involved the development of 96 beds over 3 levels.
