The brand-new Trades Training facility at Central Queensland University has become the centerpiece of a wider redevelopment forecast for the Gladstone Marina campus. The recently completed project accommodates the delivery of vocational trades training, previously provided at CQUniversity’s Gladstone city campus.

By providing a range of facilities including four workshops, teaching rooms, offices and a hair and beauty facility featuring a salon, students will be able to get a real feel for the professions they specialise in.

Visually, the buildings blend well with the architectural style of the other campus buildings, whilst inside the designs provide an excellent fit-for-purpose environment for all students.

These facility will transform the delivery of education, training and research in the region by allowing CQUniversity to deliver all of its offerings from the one central location. Paynters led this challenging D&C project, working closely with ArkLAB, with whom we have previously collaborated with on numerous projects.
