Whitsunday Coast Airport starts to take flight

PROJECT UPDATE // WHITSUNDAY COAST AIRPORT //

The Whitsunday Coast Airport is certainly well on its way to gliding towards the finish line with the site team providing an extensive update for the local community.

New Check In, Departure & Baggage Claim areas are now all sheeted and in some cases, painted. Glazing and external cladding is now complete, closing up the three main areas of the new terminal extension. Outside of the terminal external works are progressing well with new hardstands, footpaths and structures. Returning in the New Year will see the start of the internal refurbishment works of the existing terminal.
