Hervey Bay Boat Club, Hervey Bay

As a client of Paynters for over 10 years, the Hervey Bay Boat Club decided it was time to refurbish the internal club space from top to bottom. The club relocated and downsized the TAB, moving it to the lounge bar area. The TAB terminal was installed on the servery counter, allowing it to be serviced by bar personnel.

This change brought a new wave of functionality for both patrons and staff and therefore created long term savings for the club. Given that the club was fully operational during construction, a staged renovation programme was developed to ensure minimal disruption to patrons/members and the client during this time.

Paynters successfully delivered the client their vision, through the use of fresh carpet, joinery and a palate of trending colours. The introduction of a new Brazilian grill food stream to the restaurant (the only one is Hervey Bay) has been a huge success for the club, boosting sales and booking out dining sessions regularly. A new kitchen was also added during this construction period and as predicted, the chefs are making full use of the new facility.

Paynters completed extensive research in order to coordinate expert trade contractors and services whilst achieving competitive market pricing for the long term client and the team couldn’t be happier with the results.
