With Paynters having completed a number of smaller projects for the club over the past 5 years it was only fitting that the Board engage Paynters to prepare a masterplan that integrated all of their current land assets. Paynters have partnered with the RSL to not only improve the current facility, but to provide an RSL that the Redlands community can be proud to call their own.

The façade of the new 269 space carpark at Redlands RSL has been architecturally designed to embrace the rolling sands of Moreton Bay and compliment the surrounding tree scaped environment. The team at Paynters overcame numerous design challenges including the retention of two large mature trees, working closely with a horticulturalist to ensure all parties, including the local community were satisfied with the end result. In addition, the new garden beds, planted with vines will provide a seamless integration into the conservation aspects of the area once mature. The carpark was designed to allow a fluent connection to the new entry and gaming room extension, which provides a safe and secure access to and from the club whether via private vehicle or courtesy bus. The club now provides 170 up-to-date gaming machines for members and guests. The 90-year-old memorial was retained and assimilated into the new contemporary designed carpark, with new tiles, bench seating and garden to soften the space when reflecting over fallen comrades.
